"I am a surveyor in a Construction Company in Virginia, doing mostly site layout, but find myself using Carlson for onsite engineering when building retention ponds, and estimating cut/fill volumes on grading bids. If it wasn’t for the ease of Carlson Software I do not think I would be able to get so much done. I currently use Survey 2009 Standalone AutoCAD and love it. Like I said I am requested to as-built surveys on our grading sites weekly and then check the finish grade volume against the plan design volume.
