SurvCE-Field Track I/SurvCE: Map Screen/Nuno Fernandes --
There are over 75 commands under the Carlson SurvCE MAP screen drop down menus FILE, VIEW, DRAW, COGO and TOOLS. In 90 minutes we plan to do a brief overview on each command found in Carlson SurvCE's MAP screen.
SurvCE-Field Track II/SurvCE: GPS-GPS Reference Networks/TBD --
This session will cover the main procedures for GPS base and rover configurations. We will explain the different localization methods and map projection options. We will also review the different receiver and modem hardware choices that are supported.

SurvCE-Field Track I/GIS Data Collection/John Gerber --
This session wil show how to use SurvCE for GIS attribute data collection and various methods to then export this data for reuse in Carlson office programs. Learn how to set up SurvCE for attribute prompting, what files are used in the process, and how to bring it full circle back into the programs of the Carlson Civil Suite to display, query and even edit the data. The utilization of these tools and methods provides an excellent solution to GIS data collection progects, but like any power tool mixed with some good old creativity, it also has a variety of other interesting applications.

SurvCE-Field Track I/SurvCE: Basic Surveying/Butch Herter --
This class will focus on the basic setup and functions of SurvCE. The creation and setting up of jobs and instrumentation as well as data collection and stake out will be covered. An overview of the program's menus will also be covered.
SurvCE-Field Track II/SurvCE: Field-to-Finish/Aaron Newman -- This Session will focus on collecting Topography Data using Total Stations, Robots and GPS Equipment. We will spend some time explaining how to use Feature Code lists for creating linework Live in the Data Collector. We will also cover using Robots and GPS to collect Points using our Auto by Interval routine.

SurvCE-Field Track I/SurvGNSS/Derek Roche --
One of the newest software options from Carlson, SurvGNSS is a post-processing software that is a fully automated solution designed to easily process raw GNSS data from different receiver brands. Learn how to utilize this new tool and process your GNSS data files with just a link to the Internet.

SurvCE-Field Track I/Advanced Surveying, Sets-Resections/Dean Goodman -- We will discuss different methods of collecting sets of angles and distances using SurvCE. We will also show how to use the SurvCE resection routine, and how to collect data for processing in SurvNET.
SurvCE-Field Track II/SurvCE Stakeout/Carrie Jones --
This session will cover stakeout procedures from single Points to complex Surface models, Centerlines and X-sections. We will go through the software workflow for stakeout tasks such as Design Structures by using both GPS receiver and Total Station. We will also see the different types and sources of data that can be used under the stakeout functions.

SurvCE-Field Track I/Background Images/Aaron Newman --
This session covers the ability to bring in a background image into a drawing having it geo-referenced and also creating an “imd” background image for SurvCE. .
SurvCE-Field Track II/SurvCE Stakeout/Butch Herter --

SurvCE-Field Track I/Robotics-Reflectorless/Sarah Winters --
We will discuss the use of robotic and reflectorless equipment with SurvCE including the functions and settings specific to these total stations.
SurvCE-Field Track II/Carlson Field/John Carlson -- This session will cover the new features of Carlson Field, including the support for new equipment drivers and RTK devices. We will also discuss the advantages of PC-based data collection, and applications of Carlson Field as a whole.

SurvCE-Field Track I/SurvPC/Butch Herter --
See Carlson's newest data collection software program in action. SurvPC is a full-screen version of Carlson’s popular data collection software, Carlson SurvCE, that can be used on standard Windows PC computers such as ruggedized laptops. It does all the SurvCE does and more.
SurvCE-Field Track II/SurvCE Advanced Roads/Mike Hyman --
One of the distinguishing attributes of SurvCE is its powerful roading commands. The course begins with a thorough study of the entry and importing of the basic road elements of centerlines, profiles, templates and cross sections. Road stakeout is also covered.
