RDO Integrated Controls & Carlson Form Exclusive Partnership for Mining & Landfill Machine Control Software Distribution

MAYSVILLE, Ky., & FARGO, N.D. – RDO Equipment Co.’s GPS and Machine Control Division, RDO Integrated Controls (RDOIC), is now the exclusive distributor for Carlson Software Inc.’s 3D mining and landfill machine control software products for 16 U.S. states. The mutually exclusive partnership was recently reached with the goal of putting forth the best solution for RDOIC’s customers.

The 16 states where RDOIC will be the distributor of Carlson Software’s 3D Machine Control Landfill and Mining software products include Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

This is the expansion of the initial partnership between RDOIC and Carlson, reached in July 2009, where RDO Equipment Co., formed a new division to distribute positioning solutions for the construction, mining and landfill industries.

Carlson 3D machine control products for mining are designed for use with dozers, shovels, excavators, scrapers, draglines, bucket wheel excavators, haul trucks, wheel loaders and site managers. The 3D positioning software provides real-time information both in the machine and in the office. This allows mining operations to analyze and operate in the safest and most productive manner.

Carlson Landfill Management Products are designed for use with landfill compactors, dozers and scrapers. This allows operators to reach desired density maximizing airspace in less time as well as minimizing daily cover. The office software offers productivity analysis and a new generation of invaluable daily density and volume reports can be remotely monitored from anywhere.
